While that fell short of the 1,200 that Steeldogs attracted for the reverse fixture at iceSheffield the previous weekend, it is still a healthy number and shows there is an appetite for the NIHL series.

Hide AdThe numbers are looking good on a personal level for Sheffield Steelers' asset Alex Graham too.
For the second week running, the 17-year-old Dronfield forward bagged a brace for Dogs.
He is clearly revelling playing alongside veterans like Ben O'Connor and Jason Hewitt, who both scored shorthanded goals at Swindon, on Sunday evening.
Co-owner Roger Williams said: "We are very happy with the result - the team has hit the ground running, scoring two early goals that put them in a strong position that they never surrendered.

Hide Ad"Swindon are so strong on home ice, so dangerous offensively but the guys more than matched them."
He said Dogs' goaltender Dmitri Zimozdra put in an excellent shift.
"We haven't won in Swindon for quite a while, so it's great and it sets up next weekend's away and home meetings with Milton Keynes Lightning" said Williams.
Meanwhile, one Steelers' defenceman is celebrating a win over a colleague.

Hide AdMarek Troncinský had a goal and an assist in his second game for Romanian club Gyergyoi HK, shepherding his team to a 4-1 victory over Davey Phillips’ Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák, of Hungary.
Both players are wanted back by Steelers' coach Aaron Fox, although the chances of an EIHL return to action in early 2021 still remain unlikely despite suggestions of some form of financial assistance from the Government.
