Hide Ad“We didn’t play good with the ball, we didn’t have good movement, Sheffield Wednesday were dominant in the first 45 minutes. But that’s without clear chances, today they created maybe once chance after a set piece. We did a good job in defence, but not good in attack.
“The second half it was opposite, we started to play, we started to move the ball, we started to create from the last line in the build-up and we had good movement with the players in front and immediately we started to create the chances.”
The result takes Watford to four points and eighth position in the Championship after two games, while the Owls remain bottom of the table with -8 despite having picked up the same amount of points as the recently relegated Premier League outfit.
It was the first 0-0 draw between the two sides since a 1998 FA Cup match, and the first ever in a league encounter.
