That’s according to the Sheffield Wednesday manager himself, who speaking ahead of Boxing Day’s trip to Ewood Park hinted that he had drawn a line under the incident, despite ‘interpreting it differently’ to the 27-year-old wide man.
Footage appearing to show Odubajo high-fiving Lewis Grabban in the seconds after the Forest man scored his side’s second unanswered goal against the Owls last week quickly went viral on social media, prompting an understandably angry response from Wednesday fans.

Asked about the meeting a week on, the Wednesday manager didn’t budge on his reading of the incident and confirmed that the meeting had taken place and said: “I had a good chat with Mo. His interpretation is different to ours.
“I think he made a mistake, but how many of us in our lives make mistakes? We have to move on and get on with it.
“He’s playing for a fabulous football club, steeped in tradition, and he has to realise and understand along with the rest of them that they have a duty and a responsibility to honour that football club in every which way, both on and off the football pitch.
