Shaw, who is still just 19, made his Wednesday debut last month as he came on in the 3-0 win over Queens Park Rangers, and has been tipped for good things by current SWFC boss, Garry Monk.
The tall midfield man is hoping to get even more minutes under his belt in the 2020/21 as the Monk revolution continues, and he admits that the intake of new staff such as James Beattie has been a boost for the players as they prepare for what will be a tough season ahead.
