That’s according to Owls boss Garry Monk, who speaking ahead of this weekend’s visit of Luton Town said he expected the 20-year-old to bounce back with little fuss, commenting on Hunt’s maturity and said the experience will make him a better player.
The talented midfield man was taken off in favour of Joey Pelupessy after an underwhelming first half, though Monk said the decision was purely tactical.

"I spoke to him before about those situations, he’s very young in his career and your job is to try to help him, to speak to him about situations he’ll face in the next 15 or 20 years in his career as a footballer.”
Youngsters such as Hunt have received increased game time at Wednesday in recent weeks. Monk said that after their conversation he had been pleased with Hunt’s response in training.
“How you deal with that [being substituted] is by keeping his behaviour consistent,” Monk said. “We’ve spoken about it and he’s a very mature young man. These are the decisions he’ll face and can happen.
