There are seven matches still to play before the season ends on May 8 and they have it all to do if they are to continue in their bid to complete a great escape and survive.
One man who last month explained his desperation to play his part is long-time goalkeeper Keiren Westwood who is one of several first team players entering an uncertain future with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Westwood was named on the bench as Joe Wildsmith kept a clean sheet in Wednesday’s rampant 5-0 win over Cardiff and with only seven matches remaining Westwood’s pursuit of the milestone looks likely to run dry.
Asked about the goalkeeper situation last night, Owls stand-in manager Jamie Smith said: “Joe has been fantastic for us.
“Obviously, Keiren [Westwood] is a top goalkeeper and will keep Joe on his toes which is what you want. You want competition throughout the squad.”
