But as previously reported by The Star, players in both the U23s and U18s have started to get an idea now of whether or not they will be in the plans for next season and if they have a future at Hillsborough.

Hide AdTony Pulis revealed during his time at the club that Reach and Lees had been offered new deals, while it’s also understood that Wednesday are eager to try and keep Osaze Urhoghide around as interest grows in him from elsewhere.
Sam Hutchinson has a contract that will automatically extend when he plays a certain amount of games, but that number has not been made public.
Meanwhile, young players who have been on the fringes of the first team – Alex Hunt, Liam Waldock and Ciaran Brennan – all have one year options that are expected to be exercised as things stand, while Ryan Galvin is believed to have one more year on his deal.
The Star has reported this week that U23 players, Charles Hagan and Lewis Farmer, are among those that have been offered new deals, while the club is also believed to have exercised a one-year option on young Declan Thompson. Isaac Rice and Charlie Reaney, though, are expected to move on, while others such as Ben Hughes and Luke Cox could possibly join them.

Players such as Alex Bonnington, Paulo Aguas, Basile Zottos, Jay Glover were just some of the U18s that were part of today’s U23 victory over Wigan Athletic, with the young Owls running out 4-1 winners – suggesting they may be in the plans for next season. Corey Glaves is one expected to be moving on.
More news is expected next week.
