It’s understood that the five positions Wednesday are looking to fill most urgently are left back, the left side of central defence and central midfield, as well as trying to pick up at least one player for out wide and up front as they go in search of more goals in 2021/22 than they managed in the disappointing season that’s just gone.
The understanding is that Wednesday will return for the start of preseason in the last week of June as Moore looks to put them through their paces ahead of a tough campaign ahead, with a trip to Wales looking to be on the cards where they could potentially face Scottish giants, Celtic.
Moore will be hoping to have at least a few new faces through the door by then, but for now that’s still a work in progress.
