Owls boss Garry Monk confirmed that the talismanic centre-half is ‘in contention’ for a place in the side and the news comes at a good time for Wednesday’s defence after Tom Lees’ suspension and injury to Aden Flint in midweek defeat at Rotherham ruled him out.
Fellow defenders Liam Shaw and Chey Dunkley are also out injured, with Joost van Aken suspended after seeing red in defeat against Luton.

“I’m done with all the running and the preparation and now I’m back with the boys it feels good.
“When you’re injured you just want to be playing, especially watching from the side when you know you’re not too far away, but I’m buzzing to be back and I’m just looking forward to playing some games now.
“When you’re not far away, you’re watching from the stands and just counting down really. It’s been about two or three weeks but I’ve missed a few games so I’m just raring to be back now.

“In these next three games we need to bounce back and get as many points as we can.”
Wednesday head to Wycombe off the back of three consecutive defeats and will be desperate to get to within two points of the hosts, who sit second bottom in the table.
"We’ve got a good group of lads here, there’s a good atmosphere, nobody’s heads are down,” Iorfa said.

“They’re all massive games anyway, but especially off the back of the two results we’ve had, going into the weekend we know we need to be better, we will do better as well. Hopefully we can go out and get the three points.”
