Darren Moore reveals the mood inside the Sheffield Wednesday camp after another defeat

Wednesday have now lost six games in a row for the first time in almost a decade, and have lost five away games on the bounce, but Moore felt that they were giving a good account of themselves until Julian Börner’s mistake and dismissal.
When asked about the mood after the game, he admitted the red card changed dramatically, saying, “The mood was obviously disappointed, because the group felt that - in terms of how we came here and how we were structured - you could see that in the first 20/25 minutes we had just as much of the ball as them.

Meanwhile, on the second and third goals, he felt that it was a case of tiredness: “When I look back at it, it looked like one or two had run out of legs in the second half. They move the ball well, they constantly keep their width, so it was a difficult afternoon.
“Looking back at the goals in real time, it looked to me like tiredness in terms of minds and legs. The second goal took the game away from us - if we’d stayed in the game longer I could’ve brought one or two attacking players in and had a real go at them.”
