What Phil Jagielka said about returning to Sheffield United as a manager one day
and live on Freeview channel 276
Jagielka is one of four players who will leave United when their contracts expire this summer, with John Lundstram, Simon Moore and Jack Rodwell also departing.
In two spells, Jagielka made over 300 appearances for the Blades and is seen as a modern-day legend at the club. Although he has not yet obtained his coaching badges, he admits it is something he may now look at as he plans the next step – although he has not yet resigned himself to hanging the boots up just yet.

“I’d like to say yes,” Jagielka told BBC Football Heaven when asked if he can see himself back at Bramall Lane in some capacity in the future.
“I’d like to say the door’s been left open. There’s not been any negativity attached to [leaving].
“To come back again, live in Sheffield for a bit and soak up the atmosphere was fantastic and its up to me now to go away, revaluate and look at badges or other clubs to play for. You never know.
“It’d be fantastic to be in the dugout one day for either the home or away team but hopefully I’m a bit away from that just yet.”
