Sheffield United starlet reveals his Wales Euros dream - and knows what he has to do to book his place

The 21-year-old defender won his first three senior caps for Wales this season - tasting victory in all three - and will hope to be included in the squad that former Blades man Robert Page names on Monday for Wales' upcoming games against Belgium, the Czech Republic and Mexico.
“I’ve come to Stoke to play football, get game time and play the best football I can,” Norrington-Davies said. “Hopefully we can build on this and get a couple more wins to put us into a better position.

Hide Ad“It’s to learn the game of football, keep on improving and there’s a big summer pending. The Euros are coming up and I want to put myself into a position where I’m up for selection.
“It’s a massive tournament and if you’re given the opportunity to play at the Euros as a kid, anyone would take it. It’s in my hands so I need to make sure I do the job on the pitch.
“It’d mean everything. Obviously I’m Welsh and making my international debut this season was fantastic and making the Euros squad would be even better. I didn’t think I’d be where I am now right now but over the last 18 months everything has accelerated.
“If I can keep on going that way, that’d be great.”

Page, the former United captain, will again take caretaker charge of Wales for their upcoming games after it was announced that Ryan Giggs will remain on leave.

Hide AdGiggs was arrested on suspicion of assault at the start of November and last month had his bail extended until May 1.
"The Football Association of Wales and Ryan Giggs have mutually agreed that he will not be involved in the upcoming international camp," said an FAW statement.
"Robert Page will take charge for the next three matches against Belgium, Mexico and the Czech Republic and will be supported by Albert Stuivenberg as was the case during the last international window in November."
