Manager Chris Wilder has brought in seven new players since the end of last season – including Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster, who signed for a club record fee of £23.5m on Friday – to strengthen his squad for the new Premier League campaign.
United have also allowed several players, mainly those on the fringes of the first-team squad, to leave the club in recent months – although one name they would have loved to have kept onboard is goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who has returned to parent club Manchester United after two highly impressive seasons on loan at Bramall Lane.

The poll ran for 24 hours spanning Tuesday and today (Wednesday) and attracted 960 votes.
Fourteen per cent of respondents said they were ‘not convinced’ by United’s activity; 25 per cent said the club’s business was ‘not bad’, 51 per cent felt Wilder and his recruitment team have enjoyed a ‘good’ window and 10 per cent believed the Blades had been ‘excellent’ in the market.
But Unitedite Guy Walker said he still has concerns about the lack of goal threat within the squad.

Don’t forget, the domestic transfer window remains open and closes at 5pm on Friday, October 16 – which means Wilder still has time to sign a defender to replace long-term injury absentee Jack O’Connell.
