‘Never say never’ – Chris Wilder issues fresh update on future of Sheffield United's Billy Sharp after another club makes enquiry amid Celtic, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest interest
and live on Freeview channel 276
Sharp has been strongly linked with a host of clubs, including the likes of Celtic, Derby County, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest, after being restricted to a bit-part role for his boyhood club since they won promotion to the Premier League.
Wilder has repeatedly said during the January transfer window that he would leave Sharp's future in his own hands, after he sealed his place in United folklore by captaining the club to two promotions in three years.

Hide AdAnd Wilder, speaking ahead of Saturday's trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal, revealed: "I had another chat with Billy this week and mentioned another club that made an enquiry about him.
"Again, I'm not surprised. I'm always looking at other groups and who's not playing, so it makes sense that other clubs do the same to us.
"We'd always ask the question and rightly so, and a few clubs have about Bill.
"It's always Bill’s choice what happens.
"I'm happy with the forwards I’ve got. We've got five and we play two up top, which leaves two on the bench and one fighting to get into the group.
"I won't leave myself light but as always, the decision is Bill’s.”
