Let's recreate spirit of promotion season, says Morgan
United, who have completed the loan signing of Aston Villa's Gary Cahill, travel to Crystal Palace at the weekend 11th in the Champion ship table following Tuesday's fortuitous draw with Blackpool.
The result, secured when goalkeeper Paul Rachubka allowed James Beattie's 30 yard shot to squirm beneath his body, prompted Robson to describe his players' second-half display at Bloomfield Road as "unacceptable". Cahill's arrival on a three month contract is a direct response to the late goals which have also cost United dear against Colchester and Scunthorpe.

"We need to recapture the spirit we showed when we got promoted to the Premiership if we want to get back there.
"Then we went to places like Brighton and came away with 1-0 wins. It was tough and it wasn't pretty but we got the job done.
"Most of the lads who took us up are still here and so we know what it takes.

Cahill, who has made two appearances for Villa this term, was allowed to join United after Robson's counterpart Martin O'Neill personally vetted the other clubs competing for his services.
Another Villa old boy - midfielder Lee Hendrie - also played a part in convincing Cahill to move north before celebrating his return from injury by completing the full 90 minutes of the reserves' victory over Hartlepool at Don Valley Stadium.
"I spoke to Lee Hendrie before coming here and he was full of praise for Bryan Robson," Sheffield born Cahill added. "He is a big name and was an excellent player.
