Next Monday, May 3, could well be a washout, with the Met Office predicting showers in the afternoon turning to heavy downpours once darkness falls. Windy conditions are also expected, with gusts of over 30mph likely.
Thankfully, the outlook for earlier in the weekend looks better, with sunny spells and a low chance of rain on Saturday, and a sunny start to Sunday, turning cloudy in the afternoon but again staying largely dry.

On the bank holiday Monday, the best weather will be in the morning, which is expected to be cloudy but dry, with light rain from around 4pm and heavy rain from 10pm.
