Saturday's 2-1 triumph at Aston Villa moved Wednesday up to 10th in the Championship rankings and within two points of the play-off positions.
It was the perfect tonic after a disappointing performance and result against Nottingham Forest last week.

Pelupessy, who joined the Owls from Heracles Almelo in the January transfer window, Â told The Star: "It is very important we push on.
"Beating Aston Villa has given us a big boost. They are a great team but we played better than them. We had a lot of possession and played very well.
"We don't want to fall back to bad results. If we can win some more games before the next international break, then I think we will be in a good position."

"We showed our spirit and character," said Pelupessy. "The atmosphere is really good in the camp.
"We showed we are in a good position and have a good atmosphere in the league which is very important. We stuck together and kept going."
The Owls have collected four points from their three matches since the most recent international break.
Pelupessy said: "It is not a bad return. If we had played a little better against Forest, maybe we would have some more points.
"But four points is not so bad when you look at the opponents."
