UPDATE: Man injured jumping 30ft off bridge trying to escape arrest after Sheffield police chase
The incident happened shortly after 10.30am this morning on Carwood Road in Attercliffe.
The 25-year-old man had failed to stop for police on Moonshine Lane around five minutes earlier - leading to a chase via Herries Road.

Hide AdThe car crashed into a bridge wall on Carwood Road - with the driver getting out, scaling the wall and jumping over 30ft on to President Way below.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said the man had injured himself in the escape attempt and was arrested for failing to stop for officers.
The man has been taken to the Northern General Hospital by police officers.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Witness Mike Smith said police had been chasing the man, who was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee when it hit a bollard in the middle of Carwood Road before crashing into the bridge wall.
