Two men charged with attempted murder of South Yorkshire boxer
Benjamin Varey, aged 30 and Edward Riley, 36, are accused of attempting to kill prize fighter Brett May during an attack in Stainforth on Wednesday, July 11.
CRIME: Drugs, cash and weapons seized in police raids in DoncasterThe men, both from East Lane, Stainforth, are alleged to have stabbed 27-year-old Brett, from Hatfield, as he walked home after a night out watching England in the World Cup semi-final.
