Sheffield tram services suspended after two-vehicle collision

Stagecoach Supertram said its Blue and Purple routes on Park Grange Road were affected by the non-tram collision while emergency services attending the scene.
Confirming the incident, South Yorkshire Police said the collision involved two vehicles and is reported to have happened just after 6pm today (June 4).

Hide AdHowever, it is not known if there were any injuries as those involved were still being assessed.
A police spokesperson said: “Police are currently on scene following a road traffic collision in Park Grange Road, Sheffield.
“The collision, involving two vehicles, is reported to have happened just after 6pm today (4 June).
“The road was blocked but has now reopened.”
At 7.28pm, Stagecoach they said the blockage in the area had been cleared through services resuming from Sheffield Station to Gleadless.
However, the company warned some delays and cancellations were still possible whilst service was being reformed.
