The worried resident said she had also seen drivers who did not want to wait turning around in the road.
Household waste recycling centres across the city do remain open- but only for ‘essential visits’ when residents are unable to store items safely at home.
The Blackstock Road centre, which is operated by Veolia, is open from Thursday to Tuesday.
The Star has contacted Sheffield City Council about the issue and is awaiting their response.
