Snow alert: Severe weather warning remains in place for Sheffield
A severe weather warning remains in place for Sheffield, with snow expected to fall overnight into tomorrow.
The Met Office is predicting accumulations of between four and eight centimetres on higher ground.
Forecasters are also warning of the potential for snow to settle over low levels of Yorkshire and down into the northeast Midlands.

Today, after a cold and frosty start, Sheffield is expected to remain dry with sunny periods.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 5C.
