Sheffield Wednesday Fans Column: Let's hope these great goals keep flowing
Fernando Forestieri’s goal against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday evening is the latest in a string of absolute belters that are making Wednesday the club that scores with style this season.
Fulham must be glad that we’ve played all our fixtures against them this season because even from distance we’ve been finding the back of the net.

Hide AdRoss Wallace’s league goal at Craven Cottage reminded me of John Harkes’ goal against Derby County in the League Cup replay in 1990.
Just a week later Barry Bannan took the roof off the net with his goal against Fulham at Hillsborough in the FA Cup.
It was a thing of beauty using the outside of his foot.
Atdhe Nuhiu and Gary Hooper need to take some of the plaudits for their assists too.
Forestieri’s goal on Tuesday night saw Big Dave do a back heel to Hooper in the build up to the goal.

Nuhiu was also responsible for the cross pitch pass to Wallace for his goal against Fulham so he deserves more credit than he perhaps gets.
Hooper played a similar pinpoint cross to Forestieri for his second goal against Birmingham City on Boxing Day.
With the vision to pick out a determined Fernando running from his own half and for him then to bend it into the net from the corner of the penalty box, it’s up their with my favourites this season.
The one to beat is ultimately Marco Matias’ majestic Gascoignesque goal against Leeds United at Elland Road.
We’ll all be hoping for another one like that on Saturday.
