RSPCA in Sheffield seeks home for dog with bad start in life
Bruce, a four-year-old black and tan cross-breed, is said to be ‘very anxious’ around other animals because of ‘bad experiences in the past’.
He is currently being cared for at the RSPCA animal centre, Attercliffe.

An RSPCA spokesman said: “Bruce is a fantastic boy looking for a special new owner.
“Bruce is a lovely lad, he is very friendly and affectionate with people, but unfortunately due to bad experiences in the past is very anxious around other animals, and can sometimes bark and growl when he is frightened.
“Bruce will need some further training and socialisation in this area, which is something that the centre can provide help and support with for new adopters.

“Bruce is a very bright and intelligent boy and has an awful lot of love to give to an understanding owner who can take into account his nature and quirks and work with him on these.”
