Hide AdTaylor, who turned 24 last month, was considered such a prospect at Shrewsbury Town that he was promoted to the first 11 when he was 17 and still a youth-team player.
He scored at New York Stadium and gave a man-of-the-match display in the Shrews’ 2-2 draw during the Millers’ 2013/14 League One promotion season.
At Shrewsbury, he was a teammate of former Rotherham skipper centre-half Ian Sharps.
He scored 13 goals last season and finished joint top scorer for Posh in League One with 11. He bagged a hat-trick in his final game for the club, in a 5-1 rout last-day rout of Blackpool.
