The Five Weirs Walk is still shut between Attercliffe Road, by Washford Bridge, and East Coast Road after being badly damaged by floods which hit the city in early November.
Friends of the Blue Loop, a voluntary organisation set up to look after the eight-mile stretch of waterway including the River Done from Sheffield city centre to Meadowhall and the Tinsley Canal, shared this photo showing the sorry state the path is in.
