Retro: Sheffield United striker moves on
Twelve months ago, on this day, Marc McNulty's association with Sheffield United drew to a close.
The Scottish forward had played 40 League games for the Blades, (2014–2017) but had spent more playing-time away, on loan at Portsmouth and Bradford City.
A high-spot arrived when McNulty scored the only goal in a 1–0 home win over Southampton to send his side to the semi-finals of the League Cup - one of 14 in a United shirt.
McNulty’s Bramall Lane term ended when he agreed to join League 2 side Coventry City on a two year contract.
