Putting life into Perspective
The ‘Perspectives’ exhibition which was opened by the Lord Mayor, Coun Denise Fox, at the Winter Garden on Monday, is the first exhibition of the society’s season and has grown significantly since the first one was held 11 years ago.
With up to 40 members displaying a selection of their work, the exhibition ensures there is a wide range of styles spanning the whole breadth of contemporary photography - including landscapes, portraits, natural history, street photography, macro images and creative photography, in both colour and black and white, featuring locations from around the world.

“It’s free and open to everyone to browse around and enjoy the photographic prints on display.
“With such a variety of images, I’m sure that every visitor will find something of interest and be inspired by the opportunities which photography offers.”
Members of the society will be on hand at around lunchtime each day to chat with the public about the photographs as well as generally about the society’s work.
The exhibition will run until Sunday, November 13.
