Pregnant mother left terrified after car ploughs into her Doncaser home
Emily Mackie was in her home in Silver Street, Stainforth, with her four-year-old when the car smashed into the front of the property.
The car is believed to have crashed into two homes and knocked over a lamppost before flipping over in the street.

Hide AdMs Mackie posted afterwards on Facebook: “Thanks to the driver for giving me and my four year old the biggest shock of our life!
“I am 12 weeks pregnant and have a four year old who was really shaken. I rang the ambulance as soon as it banged into my house.
“I would have been stood at my door with my little girl locking it if it was five minutes later. I was just about to go out.”
The front windows of Ms Mackie’s home and a neighbouring property were boarded up following the incident at 12.30pm on Saturday.

Hide AdPolice confirmed a man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following the smash.
A spokesman said two people suffered minor injuries.
A woman who did not want to be named said: “I was in work and I heard a loud bang when the car went into the front of the house.”
Dominic Covell, who lives on a nearby street, also heard the crash.
He said: “I heard the screeching as the brakes went on and I heard the bang. I dialled 999 and went to see if there was anyone hurt.”

Hide AdHe said it appeared there had been three people in the car, which had mounted the kerb and then gone into the doors of two properties before hitting a lamppost and flipping over.
One of the damaged homes has a bin outside with a sign on reading ‘Please slow down in our town.’
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “Emergency services were called at around 12.45pm on Saturday, July 23 to reports of a collision in Silver Street, Stainforth.
“It is reported that a blue Renault Clio was involved in a collision with a lamppost and houses at the location.
“Two people are believed to have suffered minor injuries. One man was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit.”
