Sheffield Council is advertising for someone who can help tempt people back to the high street following lockdown.

The council is looking to employ a communications executive who is "passionate about Sheffield" to encourage people back to shops, restaurants and leisure facilities.

Marketing Sheffield, which is part of the council, recently launched Make Yourself at Home - a new initiative to help support businesses and communities.

The aim of the campaign is to give people confidence as they begin to interact more with various areas of the city and to support businesses in their economic recovery.

The campaign will promote the city as a whole, as well as give businesses a toolkit they can use to communicate to their own customers.

The job advert has a salary grade of £25,801 - £29,636 and is temporary until March 2021.

It says: "We are looking for someone to help us deliver an exciting project that helps support the safe and successful reopening of our high streets.
