Police probe into life threatening stabbing in Sheffield continues
Detectives will spend the day continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident in Batemoor yesterday afternoon, in which a 30-year-old man was left fighting for life.

Extra police patrols were also ordered in the wake of the attack, which is being treated as 'targeted'.
Witnesses to the incident have been urged to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Jamie Henderson said: "We are in the very early stages of this investigation, however we do believe this was a targeted attack and we are already following up various lines of enquiry."
A police hunt is underway for two black men who were wearing dark clothing and who chased the victim down the street before attacking him.

Hide AdDS Henderson added: "I would ask anyone who may have been travelling through the area and has a dash cam in their car, or perhaps believes they may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour around the time of the attack, to also please get in contact with us. The smallest piece of information could prove vital to the investigation."
