Hide AdDirector of Page Hall Festival, Sam Holland, said: “The pandemic has been such a challenging time for this city, and while we’ve been coordinating the festival, we’ve spoken to many of the residents of Page Hall. There have been difficulties there but also enormous resilience, strength and kindness.
“This festival will be celebrating Page Hall’s community spirit through a widely representative event bringing together voices of all backgrounds, young and old. We encourage all Sheffielders to experience the festival and learn more about the amazing people who make this community.”
Individuals and organisations taking part include current and former poet laureates, Warda Yassin and Otis Mensah; Roma dance troupe Romano Jilo; Ignite Imaginations; Greentop Circus; Hidden Pictures; Fir Vale School and OASIS Academy Fir Vale, amongst others.
Turning the Page and Page Hall Smiles are two projects that are running alongside the festival.
