'Gorgeous' artwork from Sheffield's Pete McKee pops up across the North

Members of the public have spotted the pieces on Shoreham Street and Myrtle Road in the city. The artwork has also appeared in Manchester city centre.
Pete said similar pieces with other front line workers are “in the pipeline”. Some of the artwork is currently for sale on his website.

John Featherstone described the art as “gorgeous”, while another tweet said it as “heartwarming” to see it up in Sheffield.
Last month Pete announced he was self-isolating due to coronavirus. His latest exhibition – Eight New Paintings – was due to take place at Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery in March but had to be postponed because of the pandemic.
