‘Cheeky’ Diefer needs a new Sheffield home
Diefer came into RSPCA care in December because there was no one to care for him.
Adam Spencer, of RSPCA Sheffield, said: “On arrival, he was very anxious but being a busy and intelligent chap he just didn’t know where to focus his energy and at times, especially when feeling out of his depth, he could get very manic, OTT and grabby.

“Whilst being here his carers have spent time with him daily, introducing him to new ways to have fun, use his brain and enjoy his time.”
“He goes for lovely walks, has learnt some new skills, he enjoys scentwork games and he loves to play with toys.”
Diefer, who is a terrier, is ideally suited to an experienced, adult dog owning home, and he would prefer to be the only pet in the house.

“He`s very choosy with his friends and can get rather rude and OTT in some cases. He is looking for a home as the only dog as he`d rather not share, he’s used to being the only pet in his owners life.”
Diefer has been trained to wear a muzzle whilst out walking for a little bit of extra support.
Adam said: “He’d be a fab companion for someone used to cheeky terriers who live an active lifestyle and have lots of time to spend helping Diefer to develop his education even further.”
