Why must we always end up with gridlock?
While I appreciate the Parkway is a main artery road, why does the whole city end up in complete disarray?
This council seem to have a selective memory and don't seem to remember past gridlocks and learn from them.

The gridlock was absolutely outrageous with the usual drivers who block traffic light junctions, do u-turns in the middle of the road, causing more chaos, and the general idiocy that always comes with a Sheffield Gridlock Day.
I live at Frecheville and finally got home at 6.50 that evening. I certainly didn't see any free-flowing traffic until we got to the Mosborough Parkway, so where was this freeflowing traffic exactly?
We tuned in to Hallam FM to check what was happening and rather than issue updates to the obviously frustrated drivers, they teased us with "updates in 20 minutes" and then proceeded to play loads of adverts. Radio Sheffield was much more helpful.
