A man had his car seized by police on Sheffield Parkway after failing to heed warnings about driving eratically.

The man, driving a black Vauxhall - thought to be a Vectra or Astra - had his car seized this afternoon.

South Yorkshire Police announced: “Seen driving erratically on Sheffield Parkway, undertaking at speed. Previous warning already given = lose your car.”

The vehicle was seized under powers under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, which allows police to remove a car from a driver’s possession if it is being used in an antisocial manner.
