Man caught texting for 450 metres while driving at 40mph in Sheffield
A police officer in an unmarked car spotted the motorist in action as he was driving along Ridgeway Road, Sheffield.
When he was pulled over the driver said he did not realise it was an offence because he was not talking on the phone.
