LOVELY PICTURES: Chesterfield Lego day builds up a record crowd
More than 2,800 people attended Saturday’s event to play with the much-loved toy – and youngsters built friendships as well as blocks.
The day proved so popular that people had to queue to get into the packed museum.

Hide AdChesterfield Borough Council, which runs the museum, hailed the event.
Councillor Amanda Serjeant, the borough council’s cabinet member for town centre and visitor economy, said: “Saturday’s Lego day was a record-breaking event for Chesterfield Museum.
“More than 2,800 people came along to join in the fun at the event and make their own Lego creations.
“Although it was busy, a good time was had by people who came along.”
