Labour wins Sheffield by-election
Labour retained a seat on Sheffield Council in a by-election called following the resignation of the deputy leader.
Leigh Bramall, who represented Southey, resigned in March and has now been replaced by Mike Chaplin, who secured 1,594 votes.
Philip Brown for the Lib Dems got 706 votes followed by Dave Ogle for UKIP, who got 593 votes.

Carol Keen for the Women's Equality Party got 40 votes.
