Doncaster visitor guide is launched at football match
The new Doncaster Visitor Guide, which is a 44 page booklet packed full of things to do and see across the borough, has been created by Doncaster Council’s Visit Doncaster Team.
Partners from Club Doncaster and guests from Plymouth Argyle Football Club went head-to-head in a match held earlier this month.
Tourism Development Officer Richard Young said:

The event also saw the two sporting team’s mascots, Donny Dog and Pilgrim take part in a pre kick off presentation of one of Doncaster’s other hero’s Paddington Bear, as well as the handover of the very first of the Visitor Guides.
Destination Manager Lorna Reeve said: “The Visitor Guide is a vital part of our annual publicity for the visitor economy. We print and distribute twenty thousand copies up and down the UK and even overseas.
“We have one of only three Georgian Mansion Houses in the country, countless historic buildings, great parks and green spaces as well as entertainment for all the family. This list goes on and on.”
