Doncaster Rovers: Marosi ready to do battle with Etheridge
The 22-year-old has praised goalkeeping coach Paul Gerrard for his role in his development and says the former Oldham Athletic and Everton stopper is a major reason why he opted to remain at Rovers.
Marosi has made just six first team appearances in two years at Doncaster but penned a one-year contract extension earlier this month.

“The gaffer’s philosophy and his style of play really suits me,” said Marosi, when asked why he had re-signed.
“Our goalkeeping coach Paul Gerrard as well. We get along so well and his training is just perfect for me and I feel I can develop a lot more under him.
“Since I first signed here, I think I’ve improved a lot.
“Fitness-wise, strength-wise, technically, handling, reflexes - I’ve improved a lot in everything under Paul Gerrard.

“I’m prepared to do whatever it takes and to try my best.
“I’ll come back to pre-season fit and healthy, in good shape and good form, and show the gaffer that he can put his trust in me.
“Hopefully I’ll get to play a couple of friendlies and it’s up to me to show the manager what I can do.”
