Residents of a street in Darfield have been evacuated from their homes after what is suspected to be a grenade was found at a house.
Police are currently dealing with the incident on Cliff Road in Darfield.
Officers were called at 3:20pm and a police cordon is in place to ensure public safety.

Hide AdA spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Residents within the cordon area have been asked to evacuate their homes as a precautionary measure.
“The road is currently closed and motorists should avoid the area.”
