South Yorkshire Police recruitment drive continues to boost numbers on the frontline

From Monday, December 9, the force will accept applications for its Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship scheme, where student officers can earn a salary while gaining a degree.
The three year programme consists of practical training combined with academic theory, with a guaranteed job and a degree in Professional Policing Practice at the end.
There are no tuition fees to pay.

Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Police said: “If you think you are too old to do an apprenticeship think again.
“Our apprenticeship scheme is open to everyone aged 18 and above – there is no upper age limit.
“This is the route into policing if you currently don’t hold a degree and you can earn between £18,450 - £24, 177.”
