South Yorkshire Police issue warning over Covid home vaccine visits from bogus callers

The force has stressed that the NHS will ‘never arrive unannounced’ to deliver the jabs.
It is also warning people never to hand over their band details, pin numbers or banking passwords.

Hide AdIn a warning today, the force said: “The NHS will never arrive unannounced at your home to administer the vaccine.
“They will never ask for bank/card details, PIN or banking passwords.
“Please share with friends and family who may be at risk or who are expecting to receive a vaccine.”
Explaining the process, the NHS said: “The NHS will let you know when it's your turn to have the coronavirus vaccination.

“More people are being offered the vaccine every week.”
