Sheffield man is jailed for assaulting woman for the second time and breaking her mobile phone

Wayne Tony Anderson admitted two counts of assault on July 18 and August 2, along with criminal damage on August 2 when he appeared before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on August 6.
Anderson, 26, of Viola Bank, Stocksbridge, was jailed for a total of 16 weeks and also ordered to pay £100 in compensation for the damage caused to the mobile phone.

Hide AdMagistrates also issued a restraining order, preventing Anderson from contacting the woman or going to the street where she lives for the next 12 months.
Records show that Anderson was jailed because the offences ‘were aggravated by his previous history of offending’.
