Ricky Collins, aged 31 and from Sheffield, was stabbed in an attack in Killamarsh on Monday, March 29.
Police officers had been deployed to Westthorpe Road at 10pm following reports of a disturbance at a house but when they arrived they found Ricky critically injured in the street outside.

Hide AdRicky was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital but could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later – triggering a murder investigation.
Five arrests have been made so far as part of the murder probe, which is being treated by detectives as an ‘isolated’ incident.
Police made two arrests initially, with a 16-year-old Sheffield boy being held on suspicion of murder before he was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A 43-year-old Sheffield man, who has not yet been named, was arrested on the same day on suspicion of assisting an offender and was later charged and remanded in custody.

Hide AdMartin Mongan, 44, of Park Estate, Pontefract, West Yorkshire, was arrested on Friday on suspicion of assisting an offender and was also remanded in custody after being charged.
Yesterday, a 24-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both from Sheffield, were arrested on suspicion of murder and are being quizzed by police today.
Detective Chief Inspector Sally Blaiklock, who is overseeing the investigation, said officers are working with a number of police forces and warned: “There are no borders we will not cross to pursue people we want to speak to.
“We are still looking for a number of people in connection with the incident and I would like to take this opportunity to urge people who may be able to help us trace them, to get in touch now.”

Hide AdMurder victim Ricky’s death is the second tragedy to hit his family over recent years.
His brother, Liam Michael Collins, 27, died in a motorbike accident in October 2014.
He was involved in a collision with a car on Mansfield Road, Intake, Sheffield, close to the junction with Cadman Road
