Police arrest woman, 58, carrying two large KNIVES in busy shopping centre

Police swooped on the 58-year-old woman who was said to be acting suspiciously.
When she was stopped by officers, she was found to be in possession of two large knives.

Hide AdA South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “She has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and remains in police custody awaiting interview.”
Officers from Doncaster Central Neighbourhood Police Team made the discovery as part of an anti-knife initiative in the centre this morning.
32 people were searched using a ‘knife arch’ which can detect if people are carrying weapons.
