Jordan Marples-Douglas was fatally stabbed in his home on Woodthorpe Road, Woodthorpe, on the evening of Friday, March 6. When officers arrived at the property at around 8.10pm, Jordan was found with multiple stab wounds. He died at the scene a short time later.
On Tuesday afternoon a private ceremony was held for him at City Road Cemetery. The funeral procession was led by a horse and carriage, which carried Jordan’s white coffin into the grounds of the cemetery. Two funeral cars also led the procession, which consisted of around 50 cars and six bikes, with some passengers setting off smoke flares. Car horns were also sounded and some attendees wore personalised Sheffield United shirts in memory of Jordan.

Johnson was charged with murder on June 27, while Jones was charged with the same offence on 12 March. Dina Aweimrin, 21, was charged with assisting an offender on 3 July and bailed.
