Masked men hunted over armed raid in Rotherham

They struck on Chapel Walk, Rawmarsh, at around 5pm on Saturday, January 4 after arriving at the property in a Cherokee Jeep.
While the riders were inside the house, four men who were passing by heard the house alarm sounding and went to intervene.

Hide AdAs the offenders fled the house, leading empty-handed, they threatened the other four men with a knife and attempted to take their car.
The raiders were last seen heading down Harding Avenue in the direction of Thorogate and Monkwood.
They were white, between 20 and 30 years old and all wore black balaclavas.
South Yorkshire Police said: “No one was injured in the incident and the occupants of the house were not in at the time.”
