Man remains in hospital after another shooting in Sheffield suburb plagued by gun crime
and live on Freeview channel 276
The 24-year-old was shot close to Mount Pleasant Park on Abbeydale Road at around 8.30pm yesterday.
It is the latest in a spate of gun attacks in and around the Abbeydale area over recent weeks.

Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Police said last night’s victim remains in hospital this morning but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
An investigation to find the gunman responsible has been launched but no arrests have yet been made.
A police cordon was put in place after the shooting while officers carried out enquiries at and around the crime scene.
Extra police patrols are expected to be carried out in the area today as detectives piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Hide AdJust over a week ago, a man was shot in his foot in a gun attack on nearby Harwell Road.
In July, guns were fired on Machon Bank and nearby Glen Road, Nether Edge, with windows smashed in both incidents.
A dog also shot on Abbeydale Road.
Two months earlier, rival groups opened fire at each other on Machon Bank and a house window was shot in nearby Union Street.
A 53-year-old man was also shot in Club Garden Road, Sharrow.
